Needs Survey



The Englehart Public Library Board and staff wish to understand your needs better. We want to know how to provide you with educational, recreational and vocational services in a timely, convienient and friendly manner.

This survey is devided into the following four sections:

Thank you for taking the time to answer the questions in our survey.

This survey will be used to help us set our priorities for the next five years. With your help the Library Board has accomplished an amazing amout over the previous five years. Some of the accomplishments worth mentioning are:

  1. The completion of a georgeous new building for Englheart Public Library,
  2. The development of our materials collection to 14,000,
  3. The growth of library use to 2200 patrons,
  4. The establishment of a computer lab capable of supporting six internet searches at once. These computers are also equiped with numerous educational, recreational and vocational programs. Industry Canada graciously purchased a Scanner and Digital Camera for your use (some charges may apply).
  5. The development of an Employment Resource Centre. This Centre provides us with four of our public computers plus a job bank, fax machine and photo copier; all of which are free to anyone needing them to pursue employment. This equipment is sponsored by the Human Resource Development Centre and Temiskaming Ontario Works.
