Welcome to The Township of Chamberlain website. Our municipality dates back to 1908 when the first council meeting was held.
We are a small but mighty municipality with the main business operations being the farming and lumber industries. As with most farming communities it is a close knit community with people helping each other, working together for the good of all.
The Township of Chamberlain works well with its neighbouring municipalities; The Town of Englehart, the Township of Evanturel and the Municipality of Charlton and Dack; partnering to provide our residents with services such as the Englehart and Area Public Library, the Englehart and Area Fire Department, Englehart and Area Museum, Englehart and District Hospital and the new Englehart and Area Community Complex.
Children from the Township attend public school at either Charlton-Savard Public School or Englehart Public School and most go on to attend High School in Englehart also.
Please take the time to browse the website to see some of the interesting history of Chamberlain Township as well as preview some of what is coming in 2008 for our 100 th Anniversary Celebrations.
